The health benefits of tackling climate change | SD Scene: "While many see the technical fixes and behavioural changes proposed to cut our carbon emissions as “socially uncomfortable and economically painful”, the Lancet proposes a little recognised benefit: many of these responses to climate change will bring improvements in health. Furthermore, improved public health will result in economic savings, which must be set against the cost of such responses in international negotiations."
